The variant bard in the Book of Eldritch Might II: Songs and Souls of Power uses spellsongs rather than spells. First, a note about spellsong-affecting feats: Although spellsong-affecting feats such as Intensify Song or Sustain Song are free actions, DMs should allow bards to use only one such feat in a given round.
